Shipping policy

Please know that I have taken every precaution in packaging your items and take the utmost care in making sure everything is secure.

However, if your order arrives damaged in shipping, please immediately photograph the damage as well as the packaging and any damage to the box it’s packed in. Please contact me immediately at heritagehomenj@gmail.com and send photographs of the damage. The shippers require that all packaging and damaged merchandise will be kept for inspection for 30 days after a claim is filed. In purchasing from me, you agree to abide by this requirement. If this is a problem for you, I apologize. In that case, you are welcome to open a claim with the shipping provider yourself. All orders are shipped insured, if you have the tracking information, you can initiate a claim.

If you’d like me to initiate the claim, I will be happy to do so and will replace your merchandise when possible or refund your payment once the claim is settled by the shipping company. Failure to keep damaged merchandise and packaging for the required time may void your claim. I realize this is inconvenient and I will let you know as soon possible when you can discard of it if it’s earlier than 30 days.
