Antique apothecary jars are popular with designers for their unique, beautiful hand painted labels and their classic shape. They are great in the bathroom to hold cotton swabs or other personal items. Grouping multiples always makes more of a statement, but having just one is also a great anchor piece in a display. This particular jar was made in Germany but was likely used in Spain as indicated by the language of the front label. In excellent antique condition with some wear to the gold details, but no chips or cracks. Measures 9.5" high x 4.5" diameter.
