While Alcock was known for making ironstone for the American market, his company was based out of Stoke-on-Trent, England. This beautiful piece of ironstone is in the classic oval shape with a pomegranate finial on the lid and dates back to the mid-1800s. In excellent antique condition without chips or cracks and measures 11.5" x 7.5" x 7" high.
