This sweet little vintage porcelain Confetti Poodle is the only one I have ever seen in black. All the confetti poodles from England are white with rather undefined snouts and facial structure. Most English pieces have the faces and snouts painted in a somewhat rudimentary style as well. This little one has a defined face with expressive eyes and a detailed snout, noticeable even on its diminutive stature. Together with the construction and sculped face, it is possible this dog is German produced. It appears to be molded without a bottom, which is unlike its English counterparts, but much like the German examples with the anchor mark. Unmarked and standing at 3.25" high, this dog does have a couple of minor chips on it's foot/leg that could easily be filled in with a black marker or paint pen.
