I always say tureens are the hardest working porcelain ware you'll own, and the bigger the better! This particular piece is by German maker K & A Krautheim of Selb, Bavaria. Because of its large opening, you could easily hold guest towels, 3-4 rolls of tissue paper, or a medium house plant. In excellent vintage condition without chips or cracks and measures approximately 6" high with a 9" diameter opening.
