This beautiful antique Famille Rose melon jar features an exquisite peony design that sprawls around most of the jar. The floral pattern is highlighted with butterflies and topped with a more recent rosewood lid. The jar is in excellent antique condition and has a few minor chips to the interior rim. Original wax seal still attached to the bottom as well as the previous purchase price. Measures approximately 9" high x 9" diameter. Price reflects condition.
