This elegant white ironstone tureen by J. Edwards of England features a classic silhouette with delicate raised floral detailing and a charming finial lid, perfect for traditional or farmhouse-inspired setting. With an impressed stamp on its underside, it’s generously sized measuring 14” long by 8” wide and 11” high, and remains in excellent condition without chips or cracks. John Edwards operated his Staffordshire pottery from the mid-19th century until 1900, producing refined earthenware and ironstone that gained popularity for both durability and timeless appeal. His works are now sought after by collectors of Victorian ceramics. Whether it’s holding flowers or your favorite soup its clean form and pristine glaze would be a lovely addition to any curated table or display. Note about Provenance: This particular item was acquired from the Prop House of Eddie Ross, the Co-founder and Chief Content Creator of Maximalist Studios and a former editor for top publications like Martha Stewart Living, Better Homes & Gardens, and House Beautiful. Known for his creative approach to decorating and entertaining, he inspires audiences through design, vintage sourcing, and his book Modern Mix, as well as appearances in national media and on HGTV. Eddie closed his studio doors in early April and invited his devoted followers into his prop house to shop his lifetime collection for the last time before he embarks on his next adventure.
