This little cachepot was hand turned, then hand hammered to create a repousse design indicative of Dutch heritage. The heraldic crest of Amsterdam, a nobleman of Dutch decent and a Dutch landscape of windmills decorate this old vessel. Propped on slender paw legs, this piece would be a charming complement to any interior. Three lion head masks, all missing the rings, adorn the exterior to give added character and (intended) purpose. Interior shows aged patina while the exterior has been meticulously cleaned to emphasize it's original beauty. Measures approximately 5.5" x 4.25" high.
