A lively English fox hunting scene featuring a pack of hounds racing ahead of mounted riders through a wooded countryside. A rider on a white horse takes center stage, while others in traditional scarlet hunting coats follow closely behind. The winding path, rustic fencing, and soft autumn landscape give the painting a wonderful sense of movement and depth. Executed in oil on board and signed by the artist, this early to mid-20th-century work is presented in an ornate gilt frame. A charming piece of traditional British sporting art, particularly appealing to collectors of equestrian and country house décor. Vintage condition consistent with age. Approximately 12” x 17”, including frame.
