A beautifully detailed Victorian English ceramic tile depicting an equestrian hunting scene, with riders on horseback navigating a country landscape. Dating to approximately 1875–1890, the illustration features transfer-printed decoration enhanced with delicate hand coloring in soft greens, blues, and earthy tones.
An ornate ochre and black geometric border frames the scene, lending additional decorative interest. A wonderful example of late 19th-century English sporting imagery, particularly appealing displayed on a small easel or incorporated into a collection of antique ceramics.
Measures 6” × 6”, made in England, circa 1880.
