A charming antique Continental bisque porcelain bust of a young boy, dating to approximately the turn of the 20th century. The finely molded portrait features softly hand-painted facial details, warm brown hair, and a pale blue sailor-style jacket with a ruffled white collar, all finished in a subtle matte eggshell surface characteristic of bisque porcelain. The bust rests on an integrated pedestal base with delicate gilt detailing and is unmarked, with the underside currently covered in felt. A lovely decorative piece for a bookshelf, mantel, or collected interior. Measures approximately 8.5” high with minor crazing and age appropriate wear.
