An early Westclox “Baby Ben” mechanical alarm clock, dating to approximately the 1910s–1920s and made by the Western Clock Company of La Salle, Illinois. This charming American timepiece features a nickel-plated metal case with distinctive peg feet, an aged paper dial with bold Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, and a separate alarm-setting subdial. The Baby Ben was introduced as the compact counterpart to Westclox’s popular Big Ben and became an enduring early 20th-century bedside clock design. Approximately 3.25” high. In working condition with age-related wear and patina consistent with its history; timekeeping accuracy has not been tested.
